As an inspired director, Cristina Martins now wants to inspire people through her work. Her vast professional experience shows a unique point of view combining rhythm and dramatic storytelling. In her work, she tries to portray a budding reality, with its excitements and bewilderments, whilst inspiring herself of the different communities surrounding her, and creatively adapting these realities.
Cristina’s career began in the field of television and music videos. Backed by this experience, she moved to advertising, a field in which she’s been working for many years. In 2012, Cristina signed Par Avion, her first short film, selected in the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival’s official competition. Motivated by this success, she directed a second short film Dog’s don’t breed cats and is currently working on writing a full-length feature film.
